The bolt closes lightning-fast and smoothly, and locks securely twice at 125 degrees (a total of 250 degrees) thanks to the new "MAUSER-Spread-Lock-250" (bolt with two support lugs) with a contact area of 66 mm² in the locking socket. Maximum safety is thus combined with the highest cycling performance. For comparison: The MAUSER 98 system, known as an untouchable synonym for absolute safety, already covers 59 mm².
The new MAUSER 25 consistently puts its functions in the foreground and is the straight-pull rifle for those who prefer an unconditionally reliable tool over a status symbol.
