The ThermTec WILD 650L combines a highly sensitive 640 × 512 VOx sensor (12 µm, NETD ≤ 18 mK) with a bright 50 mm F0.9 lens and an integrated laser rangefinder up to 1,000 m. Together with the AMOLED display (1024 × 768), it produces high-contrast, stable thermal images – steady and detailed in fog, high humidity, or twilight. The robust IP67 magnesium housing, the comfortable one-handed focusing, and the 18650 interchangeable battery system make the WILD 650L a durable companion for nature and wildlife observation.
An optimized image algorithm and the self-learning AI image calibration reduce calibration interruptions – the display remains stable for up to one hour without manual correction. The Zoom Pro feature ensures sharp details even at 2–4× digital zoom.
The LRF-Boost technology combines laser and AI distance measurement. This allows for multiple targets to be captured in a single measurement and distances to be assessed precisely – ideal for structured area checks at different distances.
The above-placed focusing wheel allows for fine adjustments with one finger, while the joystick/toggle control provides quick access to central functions. The side hand strap fits both left and right-handed users and ensures a secure grip.
Via Wi-Fi hotspot, livestreams and app control are possible. 64 GB of internal storage as well as photo/video recording and playback directly on the device facilitate documentation. Six color palettes, picture-in-picture, and hotspot marking provide additional control.
