The Steyr MS Wild hunting rifle is designed with its materials and construction to function reliably in any weather, climate, and environmental conditions. This complete package includes the following components:
- a MS Wild rifle in the caliber and color of your choice
- a scope of your choice
- a 2-part quick-release mount for Weaver or Picatinny rail from Henneberger
- mounting and zeroing
The Stock
The symmetrical hunting stock made of plastic is available in Green and Coyote colors. The ergonomic stock can be individually adjusted in length and height at the push of a button. The black inlays on the grip surfaces feel pleasant in the hands. The shape of the pistol grip is designed to keep the shooting hand relaxed at all times. At the end of the fore-end, there is a Picatinny rail for mounting accessories.
The System
The monobloc system from Steyr is, as the name suggests, cold-forged from a single piece of hard steel. It features a 2-position safety. The direct trigger has a pull weight of 800 g, and the trigger can be adjusted horizontally by 8 mm. The ergonomic chamber handle allows for comfortable cycling. The magazine has a capacity of 3 cartridges. You can obtain the MS Wild in the calibers .30-06Spring or .308Win.
The Barrel
The barrel of the MS Wild has been cold-forged together with the system to optimize the vibration behavior. The smooth transition from the bolt race, chamber, and barrel ensures the highest precision. Depending on the caliber, it is 51 cm (.308Win) or 56 cm (.30-06Spring) long and has a profile of 17.5 mm. The barrel is without sights and has a 5/8‘‘-24 UNEF thread. There is another Picatinny rail on the barrel for attaching the mount for the scope.
Mounting and Optics
The riflescope is attached to the rifle using a 2-part Henneberger quick-release mount for Weaver or Picatinny rail. You can choose from the following models:
- Zeiss Conquest V4 3-12x56, without rail, reticle 60 illuminated: The riflescope features a light transmission of 90% and the 56 mm objective, making it ideal for hunting in twilight until night.
- Zeiss Conquest V6 2-12x50 M, with rail, reticle 60 illuminated: With this model, Zeiss presents a mid-range scope that excels in performance, reaching into the premium segment.
- Zeiss Conquest V6 2.5-15x56 M, with rail, reticle 60 illuminated: The light transmission of 92% speaks for itself, and with the 56 mm objective, it is suitable for hunting until night.
- Zeiss Victory HT 3-12x56 M, with rail and reticle 60 illuminated: The optics impress with an outstanding light transmission of 95% and the 56 mm objective as an expert for hunting from dawn until night.
- Swarovski Z6i 2-12x50 SR, with rail, 4A-I reticle: Thanks to the zoom range and the large field of view, the riflescope impresses in twilight with both clarity and excellent detail recognition.
- Swarovski Z6i 2.5-15x56 P BT SR, with rail, reticle 4A-I illuminated: The ballistic turret is individually adjustable and features a locking mechanism that prevents unintentional adjustments.
- Leica Fortis 6 2.5-15x56i, without rail and L-4A reticle: The riflescope is designed for precision and durability. The construction avoids the use of plastic parts in heavily stressed areas.
- Leica Magnus 1.8-12x50i, with rail: The compact dimensions and the 50 mm objective ensure maximum flexibility. The riflescope has an L-4a reticle.
- GPO Spectra 6x 2-12x50i, without rail: The top optics feature a 30 mm main tube, GPObright lens coatings, iControl illumination technology, and a G4i fiber reticle.
- GPO Spectra 8x 1.6-13x44i, without rail, G4i fiber reticle: The innovative fiber reticle consists of a fine dot that allows for clear target acquisition even in low light conditions.
- Meopta MeoHunter R5 3-15x50, without rail, reticle 4C illuminated: The optics have a field of view of 12.4-2.4 m at 100 m and feature a 5x zoom, an adjustment range of 90 MOA, and parallax compensation from 10 m.
- Meopta MeoPro R6 3-18x50 SFP, without rail, reticle RD-4C: Its 6x zoom with up to 18x magnification makes it suitable for stalking, sitting, and shooting range alike.

Das Steyr MS Wild-Jagdgewehr ist mit seinen Materialien und seiner Konstruktionsweise darauf ausgelegt, dass es bei jedem Wetter, in jedem Klima und bei allen Umweltbedingungen zuverlässig funktioniert. In diesem Komplettangebot sind folgende Komponenten enthalten:

Der Schaft
Bei dem symmetrischen Jagdschaft aus Kunststoff können Sie zwischen den Farben Grün und Coyote wählen. Der ergonomische Schaft kann sowohl in der Länge als auch per Knopfdruck in der Höhe individuell angepasst werden. Die schwarzen Einlagen an den Griffflächen liegen haptisch angenehm in den Händen. Die Form des Pistolengriffs ist so angelegt, dass die Schusshand stets entspannt bleibt. Am Ende des Vorderschafts befindet sich eine Picatinny-Schiene zur Montage von Zubehör.
Das System
Das Monobloc-System von Steyr wurde, wie der Name schon sagt, aus einem harten Stahlstück kaltgeschmiedet. Es verfügt über eine 2-Positionen-Sicherung. Der Direktabzug hat ein Abzugsgewicht von 800 g, der Abzug ist horizontal um 8 mm verstellbar. Der ergonomische Kammergriff erlaubt ein komfortables Repetieren. Das Magazin hat eine Kapazität von 3 Patronen. Sie können die MS Wild in den Kalibern .30-06Spring oder .308Win erhalten.
Der Lauf
Der Lauf der MS Wild wurde mit dem System zusammen in einem Verbund kaltgeschmiedet, um das Schwingungsverhalten zu optimieren. Der fließende Übergang von Verschlussgang, Kammer und Lauf gewährleistet höchste Präzision. Er ist je nach Kaliber 51 cm (.308Win) oder 56 cm (.30-06Spring) lang und hat ein Profil von 17,5 mm. Der Lauf ist ohne Visierung und hat ein 5/8‘‘-24 UNEF-Gewinde. Auf dem Lauf befindet sich eine weitere Picatinny-Schiene zur Anbringung der Montage für die Zieloptik.
Montage und Optik
Das Zielfernrohr wird mittels einer 2-teiligen Henneberger-Schnellspannmontage für Weaver- bzw. Picatinny-Schiene auf dem Gewehr befestigt. Sie haben die Wahl zwischen folgenden Modellen:
- Zeiss Conquest V4 3-12x56, ohne Schiene, Absehen 60 bel.: Das Zielfernrohr ist mit einer Lichttransmission von 90 % und dem 56er Objektiv prädestiniert für den Ansitz in der Dämmerung bis in die Nacht.
- Zeiss Conquest V6 2-12x50 M, mit Schiene, Absehen. 60 bel.: Damit präsentiert Zeiss eine Zieloptik im Mittelklasse-Segment, die mit ihren Leistungen in den Premium-Bereich hineinragt.
- Zeiss Conquest V6 2,5-15x56 M, mit Schiene, Absehen ist ein 60 bel.: Die Lichttransmission von 92 % spricht für sich, mit dem 56er Objektiv ist es geeignet für die Jagd bis in die Nacht.
- Zeiss Victory HT 3-12x56 M, mit Schiene und 60 bel.-Absehen: Die Optik überzeugt mit einer überragenden Lichttransmission von 95 % und dem 56er Objektiv als Experte für den Ansitz vom Morgengrauen bis in die Nacht.
- Swarovski Z6i 2-12x50 SR, mit Schiene, 4A-I-Absehen: Dank des Vergrößerungsbereiches und des großen Sehfeldes überzeugt das Zielfernrohr bis in die Dämmerung sowohl durch Übersichtlichkeit als auch durch eine exzellente Detailerkennbarkeit.
- Swarovski Z6i 2,5-15x56 P BT SR, mit Schiene Abs. 4A-I bel.: Der Ballistikturm ist auf individuell einstellbar und verfügt über einen Sperrmechanismus, der ein ungewolltes Verstellen verhindert.
- Leica Fortis 6 2,5-15x56i, ohne Schiene und L-4A-Absehen: Das Zielfernrohr ist auf Präzision und Langlebigkeit ausgelegt. Bei der Konstruktion wurde auf den Einbau von Kunststoffteilen an stark beanspruchten Stellen verzichtet.
- Leica Magnus 1,8-12x50i, mit Schiene: Die kompakten Abmessungen und das 50 mm Objektiv gewährleisten ein Maximum an Flexibilität. Das Zielfernrohr hat ein L-4a -Absehen.
- GPO Spectra 6x 2-12x50i, ohne Schiene: Die Spitzenoptik verfügt über ein 30 mm Mittelrohr, GPObright Linsenbeschichtungen, iControl Beleuchtungstechnik und ein G4i-Fiber-Absehen.
- GPO Spectra 8x 1,6-13x44i, ohne Schiene, Absehen G4i Fiber: Das innovative Fiber-Absehen besteht aus einem feinen Punkt der selbst bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen eine klare Zielerfassung ermöglicht.
- Meopta MeoHunter R5 3-15x50, ohne Schiene, Absehen 4C bel.: Die Optik hat ein Sehfeld von 12,4-2.4 m auf 100 m und verfügt über einen 5-fach-Zoom, einen Verstellbereich von 90 MOA sowie einen Parallaxenausgleich ab 10 m.
- Meopta MeoPro R6 3-18x50 SFP, ohne Schiene, Absehen RD-4C: Sein 6-fach-Zoom mit einer bis zu 18-fachen Vergrößerung macht es für Pirsch, Ansitz und Schießstand gleichermaßen tauglich.
