Selling is a:

Double-barrel shotgun, Stephen Grant & Sons, Caliber: 12/65
Barrel length: 685mm
Stock length: 360mm

This is a side-lock shotgun with an English stock in a leather case.
The action features fine engraving with English arabesques, and the case contains buffer cartridges and a small tin.

The firearm has two triggers, and the safety features the inscription "SAFE" inlaid in gold.
The barrels bear the engraving "Stephen Grant & Son." and "7 Bury Street, St. James's, London, England."

The barrels are equipped with ejectors. The English stock has a wooden cap with a fish skin cut. An unengraved stock plaque is embedded in the buttstock. It is noticeable that an old hole for a sling swivel screw has been filled. Additionally, the stock has an old and repaired chip on one side at the stock heel, as shown in the photos. This does not affect functionality.

The firearm is in used condition, commensurate with its age, see photos. The bluing is very well preserved (likely renewed), and there is no rust present. The stock has normal signs of use, but technically the firearm is in impeccable condition.

Es handelt sich um eine Seitenschlossflinte mit englischem Schaft im Lederkoffer.
Die Basküle hat eine feine Gravur mit englischen Arabesken und im Koffer sind Pufferpatronen und ein Döschen vorhanden.

Die Waffe hat zwei Abzüge und an der Sicherung ist der Schriftzug "SAFE" in Gold eingelegt.
Die Läufe tragen die Gravur "Stephen Grant & Son." und "7 Bury Street, St. James's, London, England"

Die Läufe sind mit Ejektoren ausgestattet. Der englische Schaft hat einen Abschluss aus Holz, auf den eine Fischhaut geschnitten wurde. Im Hinterschaft ist eine ungravierte Schaftplakette eingelassen. Es ist zu erkennen, dass eine altes Loch für eine Riemenbügelschraube ausgeklebt wurde. Der Schaft hat außerdem am Schaftanstoß auf einer Seite einen alten und reparierten Ausbruch, wie auf den Fotos gezeigt. Dieser beeinträchtigt die Funktion nicht.

Die Waffe ist in gebauchtem Zustand, dem Alter entsprechend, siehe Fotos. Brünierung ist sehr gut erhalten (vermutlich erneuert), es ist kein Rost vorhanden. Schaft hat normale Gebrauchspuren, technisch ist die Waffe aber in einwandfreiem Zustand.
