Allen voran bietet der hochmoderne Sensor eine Empfindlichkeit von unter 15mK und erreicht damit den aktuell tiefstmöglichen Wert. Dadurch sind extrem kontrastreiche Bilder garantiert, ebenso geht das Bild bei widrigen Witterungsbedingungen wie Regen oder Nebel deutlich später in die Knie.
