The Weatherby Vanguard FENRIS combines an excellent Japanese-Norwegian weapon stock system at a top price-performance ratio. The heavy barrel offers outstanding shooting behavior; the slightly increased weight compared to slimmer barrels ensures stable aiming and a steady weapon during firing. The Weatherby Vanguard models have been manufactured by Howa in Japan since 1970 and are based on the well-known Howa 1500, with final assembly taking place at Weatherby in Wyoming. All Vanguards feature a 3-position safety and an adjustable two-stage trigger.
The barrel thread is covered with a thread protector and allows for the mounting of suppressors or compensators. The GRS Fenris is a cost-effective polymer stock from the renowned Norwegian manufacturer. As the simplest model in the lineup, it still features two side QD mounts, a sling swivel stud on the fore-end for attaching a bipod, and quickly adjustable cheek rest and butt pad. The stock uses the standard flip-top magazine from Howa but can also accommodate the magazine kits we offer.

Die Weatherby Vanguard FENRIS verbindet ein hervorragendes Japanisch-Norwegisches Waffen-Schaft-System in erstklassigem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Heavy Barrel bietet ein hervorragendes Schussverhalten, das leicht erhöhte Gewicht gegenüber schlankeren Läufen sorgt für ein stabiles Zielen und eine ruhige Waffe im Schuss. Die Weatherby Vanguard Modelle werden seit 1970 von Howa in Japan gebaut und basieren auf der bekannten Howa 1500, die Endmontage erfolgt bei Weatherby in Wyoming. Alle Vanguard verfügen über eine 3-Stellungs-Sicherung und einen einstellbaren Druckpunktabzug (two stage trigger).
Das Laufgewinde ist mit einer Gewindeschutzmutter abgedeckt und ermöglich die Montage von Schalldämpfern oder Kompensatoren. Der GRS Fenris ist ein kostengünstiger Polymerschaft des bekannten norwegischen Herstellers. Als einfachstes Modell im Line-Up verfügt er dennoch über Zwei seitliche QD-Aufnahmen, Eine Riemenbügelösen am Vorderschaft zur Aufnahme eines Zweibeins und schnell verstellbare Wangenauflage und Schaftkappe. Der Schaft nutzt das Standard Klappdeckelmagazin von Howa aber kann nimmt auch die von uns angebotenen Wechselmagazinkits auf.
