The 3-20x50 PM II Ultra Short is the evolution of the 3-20x50 PM II. It offers the largest field of view and is also the shortest and lightest scope in its class. Its length is approximately that of the legendary 3-12x50 PM II, making it the ideal upgrade for DMR and sniper applications.
The 3-20x50 PM II impressed, among other things, with the victory achieved in the CSASS program of the U.S. Army in collaboration with Heckler & Koch. Since then, it has been in use by the U.S. Air Force as well as the Canadian and Spanish military. Police and counter-terrorism units also rely on the 3-20x50 PM II Ultra Short.
In addition to the large field of view, it features a large exit pupil and high resolution with simultaneously high transmission. Its robust construction allows for use under extreme conditions, which is also confirmed by an independent testing laboratory, NTS. It has been successfully tested on the shock stand for over 30,000 shocks in the MK17 load profile with accelerations of several thousand g-forces.
Due to its compact design, it is particularly suitable for use on semi-automatics with short rails in combination with night vision devices, but it can also be used on bolt-action rifles in .50 caliber.

Das 3-20x50 PM II Ultra Short ist die Weiterentwicklung des 3-20x50 PM II. Es bietet das größte Sehfeld und ist zugleich das kürzeste und leichteste Zielfernrohr in seiner Klasse. Seine Länge entspricht in etwa der des legendären 3-12x50 PM II, was es zum idealen Upgrade für DMR und Scharfschützen macht.
Das 3-20x50 PM II überzeugte unter anderem durch den gemeinsam mit Heckler & Koch errungenen Sieg im CSASS-Programm der US-Armee. Seither ist es bei der US Air Force ebenso im Einsatz wie beim kanadischen oder spanischen Militär. Auch Polizei und Antiterroreinheiten setzen auf das 3-20x50 PM II Ultra Short.
Neben dem großen Sehfeld zeichnet es sich durch eine große Austrittspupille sowie eine hohe Auflösung bei gleichzeitig hoher Transmission aus. Seine robuste Verarbeitung erlaubt den Gebrauch unter extremen Bedingungen, dies wird auch von einem unabhängigen Testlabor NTS bestätigt. So wurde es auch erfolgreich auf dem Schockstand über 30.000 Schocks im Belastungsprofil MK17 mit Beschleunigungen von mehreren tausend g-Kräften getestet.
Aufgrund seiner kompakten Bauweise eignet es sich besonders für die Verwendung auf Halbautomaten mit kurzen Rails in Kombination mit Nachtsichtgeräten, kann aber auch auf Repetierwaffen im Kaliber .50 genutzt werden.
