Description

The Mauser HSc (Hahn-Selbstspanner, Model "c") is a compact semi-automatic pistol that was originally developed for police, military, and later also for the civilian market. It uses a mass locking mechanism with a fixed barrel and a recoiling slide, as is common for pistols of this caliber.

The trigger is a pure single-action mechanism, where the hammer is manually cocked before the first shot or can be cocked by pulling back the slide. The weapon features a left-side safety that blocks the trigger, as well as a magazine safety that prevents firing when the magazine is removed.

ie Mauser HSc (Hahn-Selbstspanner, Modell „c“) ist eine kompakte halbautomatische Pistole, die ursprünglich für Polizei, Wehrmacht und später auch den zivilen Markt entwickelt wurde. Sie verwendet einen Masseverschluss mit einem feststehenden Lauf und einem zurückschlagenden Verschluss, wie es für Pistolen dieses Kalibers üblich ist.

Der Abzug ist ein reiner Single-Action-Mechanismus, bei dem der Hahn vor dem ersten Schuss manuell gespannt oder durch das Zurückziehen des Schlittens gespannt wird. Die Waffe verfügt über eine linksseitige Sicherung, die den Abzug blockiert, sowie über eine Magazinsicherung, die ein Abfeuern bei entnommenem Magazin verhindert.
