RWS 5.6x50R Magnum Soft Point
The 5.6x50 R Magnum is ideally suited for hunting roe deer due to its high instantaneous effect.
The cartridge is also very well suited for hunting foxes, sitting hares, as well as capercaillie and black grouse.
This highly precise cartridge can also be used for hunting beyond the 200-meter mark.
The developer of the cartridge introduced in 1968 is Ing. G. Frères, who wanted to create a cartridge particularly suitable for hunting roe deer.
The 5.5 x 50 Magnum is roughly comparable to the .222 Rem. Mag. or .223 Rem.
It is essentially a .222 Rem. extended by 7 mm.
As a rimmed cartridge, it is particularly well suited for break-action rifles, mountain rifles, combination guns, or long insert barrels.
The cartridge shoots excellently with 4.1 g heavy projectiles.

Die 5,6x50 R Magnum ist wegen ihrer hohen Augenblickswirkung bestens für die Jagd auf Rehwild geeignet.
Die Patrone ist zudem sehr gut für die Jagd auf Fuchs, Ansitzhase, sowie Auerhahn und Birkhahn einsetzbar.
Diese hochpräzise Patrone lässt sich jagdlich auch über die 200-Meter-Grenze hinaus einsetzen.
Entwickler der 1968 eingeführten Patrone ist Ing. G. Frères, der eine besonders für die Jagd auf Rehwild geeignete Patrone schaffen wollte.
Die 5,5 x 50 Magnum ist in etwa mit der .222 Rem. Mag. oder .223 Rem. vergleichbar. E
s handelt sich dabei im Wesentlichen um eine um 7 mm verlängerte .222 Rem.
Als Randpatrone ist sie für Kipplaufbüchsen, Bergstutzen, Bockbüchsdrillinge oder lange Einsteckläufe besonders gut geeignet.
Die Patrone schießt mit 4,1 g schweren Geschossen exzellent.
