The all-round binocular – The Kolibri 8x42
This binocular with 8x magnification is excellent for long distances – both during the day and in low light conditions. The exit pupil of 5.3 mm is in a range that allows for fatigue-free observation. With a unique weight of only 615 g for this performance class, compact dimensions of 142/130/49 mm, a large field of view of 126 m for a binocular of this type, and a short close focus distance (2.5 m), the possibilities for use are nearly limitless.
The new generation
Generation 3 comes not only with a new design featuring a slim bridge but also with improved optics. In addition to a completely revised and enhanced optical system, the HDX-FMC coating is now also used. Furthermore, in this model, all moving parts such as the diopter, focusing wheel, and eyecup are made of robust lightweight metal. Compared to its predecessor, the weight of the 3rd generation has been reduced by nearly 40 g.

Das Allround Fernglas – Der Kolibri 8x42
Dieses Fernglas mit 8-facher Vergrößerung eignet sich hervorragend für große Entfernungen – bei Tag und bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen. Die Austrittspupille von 5,3 mm liegt in einem Bereich, der ermüdungsfreies Beobachten noch zulässt. Bei einem für diese Leistungsklasse einzigartigen Federgewicht von lediglich 615 g, der kleinen Ausmaße von 142/130/49 mm, einem für ein Fernglas dieser Art großen Sehfeld von 126 m und dem kurzen Naheinstellbereich (2,5 m) sind die Einsatzmöglichkeiten beinahe unbegrenzt.
Die neue Generation
Die Generation 3 kommt nicht nur mit einem neuen Design mit schlanker Brücke, sondern auch mit einer verbesserten Optik. Neben einer komplett überarbeiteten und verbesserten Optik kommt unter anderem nun auch die HDX-FMC Vergütung zum Einsatz. Zusätzlich wurden bei diesem Modell alle beweglichen Teile wie Diopter, Fokussierrad und Augenmuschel aus robustem Leichtmetall gefertigt. Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger konnte das Gewicht der 3. Generation um knapp 40 g reduziert werden.
