The Rock Island Armory / ARMSCOR Ultra Match FS with a 6″ solid barrel is an excellent match pistol that can hold its own against other brands without hesitation. The model 1911 A1 Pro Ultra Match FS is available from us in 5″ or 6″ longslide versions in .45 ACP caliber. The 6″ version achieved a shot group of 27mm at 25m in tests, and we tip our hats to that for a match weapon in the price range under 2000 euros. Comparable models from competitors offer shooting guarantees of 1 inch at 25 yards. That translates to 25.4mm at 22.86 meters for double the price.

The features include adjustable sights, a commander hammer, and a long beavertail, as well as an adjustable match trigger and high-quality Mec-Car magazines. Only the finest barrels are used in the Ultra Match, the front bushing is omitted, the trigger and beavertail have minimal play, and the slide runs tightly on the weapon. In terms of target precision, this pistol in the 1911 style is far ahead. Of course, the weapon also offers a rail and front checkering, as it should!

Das Modell 1911 A1 Pro Ultra Match FS ist bei uns in den Ausführungen 5″ oder 6″ als Longslide im Kaliber. 45 ACP erhältlich. Die 6″ Ausführung erreichte in den Tests eine Schussgruppe von 27mm auf 25m und davor ziehen wir den Hut für eine Match Waffe der Preisklasse unter 2000 Euro. Vergleichbare Modelle der Wettbewerber bieten Schussgarantien von 1 Zoll auf 25 Yard. Das sind also 25, 4mm auf 22,86 Meter zum doppelten Preis.
Zur Ausstattung zählen neben der verstellbaren Visierung, dem Commanderhammer und
dem langen Beavertail, auch der verstellbare Match-Abzug, die hochwertigen Mec-Car Magazine.
Nur die ausgesuchtesten Läufe werden in der Ultra Match verwendet, das Frontbushing entfällt,
Abzug und Beavertail haben kaum Spiel und der Verschluss läuft straff saugend auf der Waffe.
In Punkto Zielpräzision liegt diese Pistole im 1911er Style ganz weit vorn. Natürlich bietet die Waffe auch eine Rail und ein Front Checkering, wie es sich gehört!
