When shooting uphill or downhill, different impacts occur because the gravimetric and direct distances in connection with gravity result in different point of impact locations. By mastering the conversion formula between the direct shooting distance and the gravimetric distance, one simply reads the cosine value on the shooting angle compensator and then, based on a height difference, has the precisely calculated distance.
