With the CDX 11.7 g / 180 gr in caliber 8.5x55Blaser, Blaser introduces a deformation projectile that is ideal for hunting medium and large game.
The "CDX" in Blaser's new lead-free ammunition stands for "Copper Deformation Xtreme" – "extreme copper deformation." All components of the cartridge contribute to this.
The Triple-Hydro-Jet projectile tip ensures a streamlined trajectory and, with the deformation properties of the copper structure, allows for rapid deformation. To ensure this is safe, the projectile features a cavity with internal notches. The driving bands on the jacket and the nickel plating minimize barrel friction and ensure maximum velocity. Finally, the boattail projectile base guarantees excellent external ballistics and precision.
With its mass stability and deep penetration, the deformation projectile is very well suited for hunting medium and large game and for use at greater distances.

Das „CDX“ bei der neuen bleifreien Munition von Blaser steht für „Copper Deformation Xtreme“ – „extreme Kupferverformung“. Dazu leisten alle Komponenten der Patrone ihren Beitrag.
Die Tripple-Hydro-Jet-Geschossspitze sorgt für eine gestreckte Flugbahn und mit der Verformungseigenschaft des Kupfergefüges für eine schnelle Deformation. Damit diese auch sicher ist, hat das Geschoss eine Kaverne mit innenliegenden Einkerbungen. Die Führungsbänder am Mantel und die Vernickelung minimieren die Laufreibung und gewährleisten eine maximale Geschwindigkeit. Das Boattail Geschossheck schließlich garantiert beste Außenballistik und Präzision.
Mit seiner Massestabilität und seiner Tiefenwirkung ist das Deformationsgeschoss sehr gut geeignet für die Jagd auf mittleres und schweres Wild und den Einsatz auf größere Entfernungen.
