The G&G GC18 series is the further development of the popular CM16 series. Unlike the CM16 series, the GC18 features a body made of metal in a refreshed design. The RIS rail on top is completely continuous. New to this weapon is the micro switch trigger unit with MOSFET. Similar to an ASCU, it now offers the advantages of a switch unit with a micro switch. The MOSFET, located outside the gearbox, is suitable for LiPo batteries. Only high-quality batteries specifically developed for the airsoft sector should be used here. High trigger speed is not the only advantage of the ETU. The materials and workmanship are, as known from G&G, excellent, and the body can demonstrably withstand more than zinc die-cast models from China. With the new trigger technology, G&G is taking another step in the right direction, moving away from old constraints towards modern airsoft models that guarantee high rates of fire and durability. Die G&G GC18 Serie ist die Weiterentwicklung der beliebten CM16 Serie. Entgegen der CM16 Serie verfügt die GC18 über einen aus Metall hergestellten Body im aufgefrischten Design. Die RIS Schiene oben ist komplett durchgehend. Neu an dieser Waffe ist die Mikroschalter-Abzugseinheit mit Mosfet. Ähnlich einer ASCU hat man nun die Vorteile einer Switchunit mit Mikroschalter. Das ausserhalb der Gearbox sitzende Mosfet ist für LiPo Batterien geeignet. Hier sollten ausschließlich qualitativ hochwertige Akkus die speziell für den Airsoftbereich entwickelt wurden verwendet werden. Hohe Triggergeschwindigkeit ist aber nicht der einzige Vorteil der ETU. Die Materialien sowie die Verarbeitung sind wie von G&G bekannt hervorragend und der Body kann nachweislich mehr ab als Zinkdruckgussmodelle aus China. Mit der neuen Abzugstechnologie geht G&G einen weiteren Schritt in die richtige Richtung, weg von alten Fesseln hin zu modernen Airsoftmodellen die hohe Feuerraten und Langlebigkeit garantieren.
