The G&G CM16 Raider-L Polarstar Edition features a very high-quality R.I.S. system made of fiber-reinforced plastic and is the ideal airsoft for HPA beginners.
The materials and workmanship are, as known from G&G, excellent, and the body can certainly withstand more than zinc die-cast models from China.
Inside the weapon works a Polarstar HPA F2 Engine.
What is an F2?
The F2 is essentially a mini-fusion engine. It offers the same adjustability and performance as the Fusion Engine, compressed to the size of a cylinder.
Patented Dual-Solenoid Design
The design of the F2™ with two magnets offers the same functionality as the legendary Fusion Engine™, but in a more compact, efficient, and flexible design. Thanks to two solenoid valves, the nozzle and the poppet valve can be adjusted independently to uniquely control both the loading time and the amount of air. Furthermore, it is possible to change the firing sequence, allowing it to operate in both true closed bolt and "AEG" modes.
Increased Efficiency
The F2™ features a new, one-piece, lightweight poppet valve design, but operates on the same principle as the Fusion Engine™ poppet. This valve can operate at lower pressures and uses less air volume for operation, optimizing air efficiency.
The standard F2 poppet corresponds to the Red-Low-Flow poppet of the Fusion Engine.
Spring-Loaded Nozzle
The F2™ nozzle is preloaded forward with a spring, ensuring consistent performance regardless of operating pressure. It uses the same spring as the Fusion Engine™, with both light and heavy spring options available for adjusting the loading pressure.
The robust design of the F2™ allows for an operating pressure range of 45psi to 145psi, making it possible to achieve performance values from CQB to DMR while using only one nozzle for the entire velocity adjustment range.
Nozzle Offset
The F2 is compatible with practically any AEG gearbox, including those with offset nozzles that can use either a centerline or an offset front cylinder. The front cylinders are interchangeable, and a centerline F2 can be converted to an offset F2 simply by swapping the front cylinder and nozzle.
