The SIG SAUER ROMEO X Enclosed Circle Dot impresses with its scratch-resistant aspheric glass lens, providing unparalleled clarity and a distortion-free image. The ultra-light CNC-machined aluminum housing ensures high durability and offers excellent drop protection and shock resistance. This robust construction is complemented by the fully enclosed design, which protects the red dot sight from environmental influences such as dust, dirt, rain, and impacts. The side-mounted battery compartment and the innovative elevation and windage adjustment system based on a beryllium copper spring enable the ultra-low profile of the ROMEO-X Enclosed, thereby optimizing the shooting characteristics and allowing for the simultaneous use of the emergency/standard sighting. This ensures that the rear and front sights do not need to be replaced while still providing stable target acquisition.
The D.A.R.C. (Dark Adaptive Reticles & Coatings) technology guarantees optimal brightness and clarity of the reticle, even when using GEN3+ night vision devices. The MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination System) automatically turns on the SIG SAUER ROMEO X Enclosed Compact when it detects movement and turns it off during inactivity. This provides an impressive battery life (CR1632) of up to 50,000 hours at medium brightness settings.
Additionally, the SIG SAUER ROMEO X Enclosed Circle Dot features 12 daytime and 3 nighttime brightness settings, which can be controlled via ergonomically placed side buttons – even while wearing gloves. The integrated sensor system detects a neodymium magnet in compatible holsters and automatically turns off the red dot sight when it is in the holster. When the weapon is drawn, the red dot immediately reactivates to the last selected setting.
