You thus receive a weapon suitable for both left-handed and right-handed shooters. The barrel of the small-caliber sport shooter rifle is a highly precise hammer-forged barrel, making it ideal for sporting use. The rifle barrel of the Mauser M15 is 16.3 inches long. A muzzle brake is screwed onto the front of the barrel.

Kleinkaliberwaffen sind perfekt für die Jagd auf Kleinwild und das Plinking, denn die Kosten für die Munition steigen nicht ins Unermessliche.
Die Selbstladebüchse 22 lfb sticht auch durch die gewählten Materialien hervor. Der Upper Receiver der Mauser M15 ist aus CNC gefrästem Aluminium gefertigt, das untere Gehäuse hingegen aus glasfaserverstärktem, aber leichten Kunststoff. Der Spannhebel der Mauser M15 kann beidseitig in 3 frei wählbare Positionen gesetzt werden. Auch die Flügelsicherung ist beidseitig bedienbar. Du erhältst also eine Waffe für Linksschützen und Rechtshänder. Der verbaute Lauf des Kleinkaliber Sportschützen Gewehr ist ein hoch präziser gehämmerter Lauf und ist somit bestens geeignet für sportliche Einsätze. Der Gewehrlauf der Mauser M15 ist 16,3 Zoll lang. In den Lauf ist vorne eine Mündungsfeuerbremse geschraubt.
Der Klappschaft der Mauser M15 Tan ist für einen optimalen Sitz in 3 Stufen einstellbar. Für einen noch bequemeren Halt sorgt die verstellbare Wangenauflage. Auch das Zielen mit der Mauser M15 erfolgt blitzschnell über die abnehmbare Flip-Up Visierung. Korn einstellen ist hier ebenfalls möglich. Auf der Picatinny Schiene kannst du nach Belieben auch eine andere Zieloptik, wie z.B. ein Red Dot Visier oder ein Zielfernrohr, aufsetzen. Rund um den Vorderschaft sind ebenfalls Picatinnyschienen angebracht für einen Pistolengriff oder auch ein Zweibein. Der zweistufige Metallabzug ist perfekt abgestimmt auf das im Zubehör erhältliche 110 Schuss Trommelmagazine.
Um eine reibungslose und sichere Funktion der Mauser M15 Tan KK Büchse zu gewährleisten, ist es erforderlich, KK Munition (Kleinkaliber Munition) mit einer extra starken Ladung zu verwenden. Solche 22lr Munition wird als "HV" bezeichnet, was für High Velocity (hohe Geschwindigkeit) steht. Die höhere Geschwindigkeit der 22 lr HV Munition sorgt dafür, dass das Geschoss eine größere kinetische Energie hat, was zu einer verbesserten ballistischen Leistung führt. Die Mauser M15 Tan ist eine halbautomatische Waffe, die bisher noch keinen positiven Feststellungsbescheids des Bundeskriminalamts (BKA) und kann daher nicht von Sportschützen erworben werden. Für Jäger hingegen ist der Erwerb mit einem gültigen Jahresjagdschein möglich.
