Excellent multi-hit capability – Edge to Edge
Other personal protective products in this protection level are made from polyethylene, aramid, or ceramic composites and have very limited multi-hit capacity.
The FERRO LIFE PROTECTOR is made from high-quality ballistic steel and thus has very good multi-hit capabilities – and this across the entire area of the plate (Edge to Edge). This means that there are no weak areas at the edges, as with composites.
Unbreakable steel plates
Where other materials fail – this solution made from high-strength steel is very robust - passing every case test and temperature or water preconditioning.
Everlasting durability
Polyethylene, aramid, and adhesives are very temperature-sensitive and have a limited lifespan (depending on the temperature they are exposed to), which forces the manufacturer to limit the warranty.
The FERRO LIFE PROTECTOR can easily exceed this lifespan as long as the coating is not damaged.
Spall Reduction Coating
Spalling is a major concern for all steel armor. Since steel is hard, a bullet explodes upon impact into fragments. This means that fragmentation is likely to penetrate into the body parts around the armor. Our special coating captures the spall and avoids this phenomenon.

Exzellente Multihit-Fähigkeit – Edge to Edge
Andere persönliche Schutzprodukte in dieser Schutzstufe werden aus Polyethylen-, Aramid- oder Keramikverbundwerkstoffen hergestellt und haben eine sehr begrenzte Mehrfachtrefferkapazität.
Der FERRO LIFE PROTECTOR ist aus hochwertigem ballistischem Stahl gefertigt und hat dadurch sehr gute Multihit-Fähigkeiten – und das über den gesamten Bereich der Platte (Edge to Edge). Bedeutet, dass es an den Rändern keinen schwachen Bereich gibt, wie bei Verbundwerkstoffen.
Unzerbrechliche Stahlplatten
Wo andere Materialien versagen – diese Lösung aus hochfestem Stahl ist sehr robust - besteht jedem Falltest und Temperatur- oder Wasservorkonditionierung.
Immerwährende Haltbarkeit
Polyethylen, Aramid und Klebstoff sind sehr temperaturempfindlich und haben eine begrenzte Haltbarkeit (je nach Temperatur, der sie ausgesetzt sind), was den Hersteller dazu zwingt, die Garantie zu beschränken.
Der FERRO LIFE PROTECTOR kann diese Lebensdauer problemlos überschreiten, solange die Beschichtung nicht beschädigt wird.
Spall Reduction Coating
Absplittern ist ein Hauptanliegen für alle Stahlpanzer. Da Stahl hart ist, explodiert eine Kugel beim Auftreffen in Splitter. Bedeutet, dass die Fragmentierung wahrscheinlich in die Körperteile um die Rüstung herum eindringt. Unsere spezielle Beschichtung fängt den Splitter ab und vermeidet dieses Phänomen.
Achtung: Stückpreis! Für eine Weste werden 2 Stück (vo. und hi.) benötigt.
