The Böker Tirpitz-Damascus pocket knife is more than just a knife – it is a piece of living history. The blade of this unique pocket knife is made from the steel of the legendary battleship Tirpitz, which served as a sister ship to the Bismarck during World War II. Parts of the Tirpitz were salvaged from the Norwegian fjord after the war and processed into an extraordinary Damascus steel. The special pattern "Great Pyramid" made of 300 layers gives the blade an unparalleled appearance and makes this knife a highlight of any collection.
High-Quality Materials and Craftsmanship
The hand-forged blade made from Tirpitz steel combined with carbon tool steels offers an impressive Rockwell hardness of 61-63 HRC, making the knife extremely resilient and durable. The handle is made of anodized aluminum AlMgSi1, known for its high strength, and is adorned with inlays of domestic walnut wood. This high-quality combination of materials makes the knife not only functional but also a true collector's item.
