Thanks to the revolutionary Safe-Action system, the firing pin is pre-tensioned by the slide's cycling motion. The remaining tensioning and firing of the shot occurs during the pull of the trigger. This results in a constant trigger weight from the first to the last shot with high handling safety.
The grip is made of particularly durable plastic that is 86% lighter than steel.
All metal parts are coated with a matte black, extremely corrosion-resistant Tenifer coating.
The Glock 17 is the first development from Glock – already in use since 1982 by Austrian authorities (P 80) and a few years later also very successfully as the civilian model 17 worldwide. Robust, reliable, and with excellent precision, it guarantees good results in any situation.

Glock steht für beliebte Gebrauchspistolen, die ihresgleichen suchen.
Weltweit wurden weit mehr als 2 Millionen Glock-Waffen verkauft. Ob als Dienstwaffe zahlreicher Polizeieinheiten oder als Sportvariante – mit einer Glock haben Sie immer einen zuverlässigen Partner.
Durch das revolutionäre Safe-Action-System wird der Schlagbolzen durch die Repetierbewegung des Schlittens vorgespannt. Das restliche Spannen und Auslösen des Schusses erfolgt beim Durchziehen des Abzuges. Dadurch ergibt sich ein konstantes Abzugsgewicht vom ersten bis zum letzten Schuss bei hoher Handhabungssicherheit.
Das Griffstück ist aus besonders stabilem Kunststoff gefertigt, der 86% leichter ist als Stahl.
Alle Metallteile sind mit einer mattschwarzen, extrem korrosionsresistenten Teniferbeschichtung überzogen.
