The small compact self-firing device for building and property protection, for repelling birds in fruit and vineyard plantations, and for preventing wildlife damage in forests and fields. For building and property protection, the device is mounted flat and inconspicuously on a board on the ground. Trip wires are stretched at a height of about 10 cm. For wildlife damage prevention, devices are mounted on posts around the areas to be protected, and tension wires are stretched at the appropriate height. For wild boar, about 50 cm; for deer, about 1 m height. Depending on the terrain, 3 to 5 devices are sufficient for 1 ha of area. In fruit and vineyard plantations, the device is mounted on a post in the plantation and can be triggered by a person with a long cord if needed. Made entirely of solid, fully galvanized steel. Size 14 x 4 x 2 cm, weight 370 g. The narrowed muzzle produces a very loud, cannon-like bang from the blank cartridge. The practical alarm set consists of: 1 x Selbstschuss Mod. Das kleine kompakte Selbstschussgerät zur Gebäude- und Grundstücksicherung, zur Abwehr von Vögeln in Obst- und Weinbauanlagen und zur Wildschadenabwehr in Wald und Feld. Zur Gebäude- und Grundstücksicherung montiert man den Apparat flach und unauffällig auf ein Brett auf dem Boden. Stolperdrähte werden in ca. 10 cm Höhe gespannt.Zur Wildschadenabwehr werden Geräte an Pfählen um die zu schützenden Flächen montiert und Spanndrähte in entsprechender Höhe gespannt. Bei Schwarzwild ca. 50 cm, Rotwild ca. 1 m Höhe. Für 1 ha Fläche genügen je nach Gelände 3 – 5 Geräte.In Obst- und Weinbauanlagen wird das Gerät in der Anlage an einem Pfahl montiert und bei Bedarf von einer Person mit einer langen Schnur ausgelöst.Ganz aus massivem, vollverzinktem Stahl hergestellt.
