The LFB 3 Band Classic, here in caliber 6.5x57 with 5.6 g and 86 grs., ensures very good game meat preservation and reduces the risk of hematoma formation.

Based on centuries-old technology for artillery projectiles, these cartridges were developed with the lead-free LFB 3 Band projectile (formerly Jaguar Classic). The copper alloy of the partially disintegrating projectile has a weight that is 20% lower than lead-containing projectiles. To achieve the same energy values despite this, the projectile speed was increased. Approximately 20 – 30% of the projectile mass is broken down into large fragments in the game body. The rear part, on the other hand, is compressed and creates the desired exit wound. The combination of the aerodynamic projectile shape and the open hollow point, as well as the special copper alloy, results in very good game meat preservation and reduces the risk of hematoma formation. The aerodynamic projectile shape (high ballistic coefficient) additionally ensures that even with slow calibers, a significantly elongated trajectory is achieved.

Die LFB 3 Band Classic, hier im Kaliber 6,5x57 mit 5,6 g und 86 grs., gewährleistet eine sehr gute Wildbretschonung und verringert das Risiko der Hämatombildung.

Auf der Basis Jahrhunderte alter Technologie für Artilleriegeschosse wurden diese Patronen mit dem bleifreien LFB 3 Band Geschoss (früher Jaguar Classic) entwickelt. Die Kupferlegierung des Teilzerlegungsgeschosses weist ein 20 % geringeres Gewicht auf als bleihaltige Geschosse. Um trotz dessen die gleichen Energiewerte zu erreichen, wurde die Geschossgeschwindigkeit erhöht. Circa 20 – 30 % der Geschossmasse wird im Wildkörper in große Splitter zerlegt. Der hintere Teil hingegen wird gestaucht und erzeugt den gewünschten Ausschuss. Die Verbindung aus der aerodynamischen Geschossform und der offenen Hohlspitze sowie der speziellen Kupferlegierung bewirkt eine sehr gute Wildbretschonung und verringert das Risiko der Hämatombildung. Die aerodynamische Geschossform (hoher ballistischer Koeffizient) sorgt zusätzlich dafür, dass auch bei langsamen Kalibern eine deutlich gestreckte Flugbahn erreicht wird.
