Repeater rifle, Moschette Ballila, F.M.B Grazian (Verona), cal. 6mm blank, GIL (Gioventù Italiana del Littorio). The repeater rifle of the type Moschette Ballila was used from 1931 by the members of the Gioventù Italiana del Littorio (Youth of the Lictor). This formation was the youth organization of the fascist "Blackshirts" under Mussolini and thus the counterpart to the Hitler Youth. Essentially, it was a significantly scaled-down Mannlicher-Carcano repeating system for the purpose of training the fascist youth of Italy, who began their training as early as 6 years old. In stark contrast to the firearms available to the Hitler Youth, the Ballila carbine, while equipped with a folding bayonet, was otherwise only designed to fire 6mm blank cartridges. Thus, the barrel has neither grooves nor lands.
The system sleeve is marked with the coat of arms of the Gioventù Italiana del Littorio and the year of manufacture 1939, as well as the manufacturer F.M.B. Grazian from Verona. The condition of the weapon is good considering its age, with light to moderate signs of use and corrosion. The corresponding bayonet and cleaning rod are not present, but the web strap is included. There is no valid proof of proofing.

Repetierbüchse, Moschette Ballila, F.M.B Grazian (Verona), Kal. 6mmPlatz, GIL (Gioventù Italiana del Littorio). Die Repetierbüchse vom Typ Moschette Ballila wurde ab 1931 von den Mitgliedern der Gioventù Italiana del Littorio (Jugend des Liktors) verwendet. Diese Formation war die Jugendorganisation der faschistischen "Schwarzhemden" unter Mussolini und somit das Pendant zur Hitler Jugend. Im Wesentlichen handelte es sich um ein stark verkleinertes Mannlicher-Carcano Repetiersystem zum Zweck des Trainings der faschistischen Jugend Italiens, die ihr Trainig teils mit bereits 6 Jahren begannen. Im scharfen Kontrast zu den scharfen Waffen, mit denen die Hitler Jugend verfügte der Ballila Karabiner zwar über in Klappbajonett, war aber ansonsten nur zum Verschießen von 6mm Platzpatronen konstruiert. So verfügt der Lauf weder über Züge noch Felder.
Die Systemhülse ist mit dem Wappen der Gioventù Italiana del Littorio und mit dem Herstellungsjahr 1939 sowie dem Hersteller F.M.B. Grazian aus Verona versehen. Der Zustand der Waffe ist angesichts des Alters gut mit leichten bis mittleren Gebrauchs- und Korrosionsspuren. Das zugehörige Bajonett und der Putzstab sind nicht vorhanden, allerdings der Webriemen. Es ist kein gütiger Beschuss vorhanden.
