With the Predator 480, Pard has launched a thermal imaging attachment with an integrated laser rangefinder that can also be used independently as a monocular. This version does not have a display reticle and is therefore approved for use in hunting in Germany.
The SensorThe highly sensitive VOx sensor is a proprietary development by Pard. It has a resolution of 480x360 px and a pixel pitch of 12µm. It detects the smallest thermal differences, with a NETD value of ≤20 mK. Even in damp weather, you can still identify wildlife well in its surroundings. The maximum detection range with the 35 mm lens is 1,800 m.
The DisplayThe processed thermal information is displayed on a 1,920x1,080 px OLED display in the Predator 480. The images are sharp, high-contrast, and detailed thanks to Pard's infrared image enhancement algorithm IREA. Three scenarios – city, rain, and forest – as well as six color modes are available depending on the hunting situation and individual needs. The Predator 480 features automatic video recording start with recoil detection, ensuring that you can fully document your shot. You can transfer the data to a mobile device via USB-C or WiFi. It is recommended to use the PardVision2 app.
Robust, intuitive, and recoil-resistantDue to its compact and lightweight design, the mounting of the Predator 480 attachment does not negatively affect the balance of the rifle. Fitted with an M52x075 thread, it fits all common standard adapters. It has an enormous recoil resistance of up to 6000 J and is waterproof and dustproof according to IP67 protection standards. The controls are intuitively accessible even at night and while wearing gloves.
The Laser RangefinderFor accurate target acquisition and to place the optimal shot, knowing the distance to the game is advantageous – both day and night. Therefore, the Predator 480 thermal imaging device has an integrated laser rangefinder with a range of 1,000 m. It provides the desired data quickly and precisely.

Mit dem Predator 480 hat Pard ein Wärmebildvorsatzgerät mit integriertem Laser-Entfernungsmesser auf den Markt gebracht, das auch selbstständig als Monokular genutzt werden kann. Diese Version hat kein einblendbares Absehen und ist daher in Deutschland für die Benutzung bei der Jagd zugelassen.
Der SensorDer hochempfindliche VOx-Sensor ist eine hauseigene Entwicklung von Pard. Er hat eine Auflösung von 480x360 px und einen Pixelabstand von 12µm. Kleinste thermische Differenzen werden damit erkannt, der NETD-Wert liegt bei ≤20 mK. Selbst bei feuchtem Wetter können Sie das Wild noch gut in seiner Umgebung identifizieren.
