The System
The steel-made system of the SM 12 has been coated with Ilaflon, effectively protecting against corrosion. The typical Steyr bolt with optimized chamber grip and 60-degree opening angle glides smoothly through the sleeve. Equipped with a functional manual cocking system (H.C.S.) and combination trigger, the SM 12 is a weapon with a set trigger that does not compromise on the safety of manual cocking. With minimal effort, the manual cocking can be easily operated even in the shooting position. The golden trigger visually emphasizes Steyr's attention to detail. The removable magazine holds in standard caliber 4+1 shots and in the magnum variant 3+1, providing sufficient firepower.

The Stock
The innovative SX stock combines ergonomic design with maximum durability. The synthetic stock in hunting olive green with black elastomer inlays features a straight back and no cheek piece, making it suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters. The high-quality synthetic stock impresses with its full bedding in aluminum, which, in combination with the high-quality plastic, ensures maximum torsional rigidity.

The Barrel
The cold-hammered and O.B.P. (optimized barrel profile) optimized barrel, 50.8 cm long, promises consistently good hit results. Its externally turned structure integrates very well into the appealing overall appearance of the SM 12. An all-round sight is pre-installed.

Leica Amplus 6 2.5-15x50i without rail, reticle L-4A: Thanks to the large magnification range and the 50 mm objective diameter, the 2.5-15x50i is particularly flexible and versatile. With a 2.5x starting magnification, it can be used for stalking and driven hunts, as well as for sitting until late twilight. The high light transmission of about 90% and the parallax compensation provide detail recognition even at 15x magnification through high contrast, thus supporting the safe identification of game.
