Due to the steeper grinding angle, the blade is slightly less sharp but can withstand significantly higher loads (similar to an axe). Der Griff: Is made of solid wood, with inlays made of real, green-dyed ray skin. The ray skin is completely wrapped around the handle, and the green handle wrap is done in a traditional manner. The blade is held in place by 2 bamboo pegs in the handle for 100% stability. Die Schwertscheide: Made of wood, black lacquered with a green cord (Sageo). Die Klinge: Wurde aus 1095er Kohlenstoffstahl von Hand geschmiedet und mit Lehmhrtung bearbeitet, was zu einer Hrte von ca. 60 HRC an der Schneide und ca. 45 HRC am Klingenrcken fhrt. Das sorgt fr beste Schnitteigenschaften und Langlebigkeit der Klinge Klingentyp: Maru Echte, sehr schne Hamon! Klinge mit Niku!: Die Klinge hat einen balligen Schliff, wie auf dem Schaubild bei den Produktbildern gezeigt. Durch den steileren Schleifwinkel ist die Klinge etwas weniger scharf, aber hlt dafr wesentlich hhere Belastungen aus (hnlich wie eine Axt). Der Griff: Ist aus Massivholz gefertigt, es wurden Einlagen aus echter, grn gefrbter Rochenhaut verwendet. Die Rochenhaut ist komplett um den Griff gewickelt und das grne Griffband in traditioneller Weise gewickelt. Die Klinge wird durch 2 Bambusstifte im Griff gehalten, fr 100%igen Halt. Die Schwertscheide: Aus Holz, schwarz lackiert mit grnem Band (Sageo).
