Starline cases .458 HAM'R 500 pieces
The .458 HAM'R is a caliber based on the .458 SOCOM and was developed by Bill Wilson to drive a 300 grain projectile about 200 fps faster than the SOCOM. Due to the constraints of the bolt and extension of the AR-15, the .458 HAM'R is used in a hybrid AR platform with a larger diameter bolt and extension. This allows the .458 HAM'R to reach its full potential while still being a relatively lightweight carbine. Complete firearms are available from Wilson Combat, and standard loading dies for .458 SOCOM can be used when adjusted higher to achieve the correct headspace.
