6:1 - Magnification range
6-fold Erector system with Twin-Bias springs Our dual leaf spring system made from a beryllium copper alloy withstands the toughest loads. Built with up to 30 percent more holding power, it prevents play and tension in the erector system.
FireDot™ illumination
Illuminated VX-6 reticles feature the extremely bright FireDot™. The flat 1-button operation to the highest technological standard allows you to choose between 12 brightness levels of the reticle while hunting. The highest setting is 10% brighter, and the lowest is 10% darker than the standard FireDot illumination strength. The exclusive Motion Sensor Technology (MST™) automatically turns off the illumination after five minutes of inactivity – and turns it back on as soon as movement is detected.
Pop-Up Re-zero/CDS-ZL2 reticle adjustment with locking
Sight-in the VX-6 is easy and works almost automatically with the pop-up re-zero click adjustment, which can be exchanged for a custom reticle adjustment (Custom Dial System). This unique system allows you to sight in your riflescope for the desired load and environmental condition. The Custom Dial System CDS is individually tailored to your load and is therefore particularly interesting for reloaders (see Leupold video). The new CDS ZL2 reliably prevents unwanted reticle quick adjustment.
Lead and arsenic-free glass lenses
A unique Leupold feature to influence light transmission to your advantage. Blackened lens edges prevent reflections and false light. The blackened edges absorb stray light instead of reflecting it. This results in better resolution, contrast, and superior optical performance; regardless of the conditions.
Eyepiece with "Fast Focus" diopter adjustment
The new diopter quick adjustment is extremely fast, so you have a sharp image ready in any situation in no time. Whether at close or long distances – the diopter adjustment of the VX-6 is smooth, quick, and precise. An eye protection ring with rubber insert is included with each riflescope.
Leupold waterproofing of the 2nd generation
Leupold paved the way for waterproofing that is standard in optics...
The products are now considered the industry standard. To achieve this, the scopes were filled with nitrogen, which prevented fogging and the ingress of moisture. To raise the bar even further, the VX-6 scopes utilize the benefits of second-generation waterproofing through an argon/krypton gas mixture. The combination of these gases effectively withstands temperature fluctuations and prevents long-term diffusion from the interior of the riflescope. Waterproofing is guaranteed.

Blei- und arsenfreie Glaslinsen
Ein einzigartiges Leupoldmerkmal, um die Lichttransmission zu Ihrem Vorteil zu beeinflussen. Geschwärzte Linsenränder verhindern Spiegelungen und Falschlicht. Durch die geschwärzten Kanten wird Streulicht absorbiert und nicht reflektiert. Das resultiert in besserer Auflösung, Kontrast, und überlegener optischer Leistung; egal unter welchen Bedingungen.
Okular mit „Fast Focus“-Dioptrienverstellung
Extrem schnell ist die neue Dioptrien-Schnellverstellung, so dass Sie in jeder Situation blitzschnell ein scharfes Bild parat haben. Egal, ob auf nahe oder weite Distanz – die Dioptrienverstellung des VX-6 ist leichtgängig, schnell und präzise. Ein Augenschutzring mit Gummieinlage liegt jedem Zielfernrohr bei.
Leupold-Wasserdichtigkeit der 2. Generation
Leupold bereitete den Weg für die Wasserdichtigkeit, die bei Optikprodukten heute als Industriestandard gilt. Dazu wurden die Gläser mit Stickstoff gefüllt, was das Beschlagen und das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit verhinderte. Um die Messlatte noch weiter anzuheben, nutzen die VX-6-Gläser die Vorteile der Wasserdichtigkeit der 2. Generation durch ein Argon/Krypton-Gasgemisch. Die Kombination dieser Gase widersteht Hitzeschwankungen effektiver und verhindert die langfristige Diffusion aus dem Zielfernrohr-Inneren. Die Wasserdichtigkeit wird garantiert.
