The Boresnake Viper is built on the same principle as the classic Boresnake, but it is optimized for extreme contamination.
The differences between the Boresnake and the Boresnake Viper:
A conical sleeve at the beginning of the cleaning cord ensures precise guidance during the passage through the barrel.
Instead of a long bronze brush, the Hoppes Boresnake Viper has three shorter bronze brushes. This means that with a single pass, every cm in the barrel is cleaned three times with a bronze brush, and then the brushed-off residues are transported away by the cleaning cord three times. In this way, the cleaning effect is increased by another 50% compared to the "normal" Boresnake.
Another difference is the significantly larger lubrication zone at the end of the Boresnake Viper. Thus, after the very thorough cleaning, the lubrication and corrosion protection are applied more generously and distributed even more evenly.
Hoppes BoreSnake Viper .12 GA Die Boresnake Viper ist nach dem gleichen Prinzip wie die klassische Boresnake aufgebaut, ist allerdings für extreme Verunreinigungen optimiert. Die Unterschiede zwischen der Boresnake und der Boresnake Viper: Eine konische Hülse am Anfang der Reinigungsschnur sorgt für exakte Führung während der Passage durch den Lauf. Statt einer langen Bronzebürste besitzt die Hoppes Boresnake Viper drei kürzere Bronzebürsten. Dies bedeutet, dass mit einem einzigen Durchgang jeder cm im Lauf jeweils drei Mal mit einer Bronzebürste und jeweils danach drei Mal die abgebürsteten Rückstände von der Reinigungsschnur abtransportiert werden. Auf diese Weise wird die Reinigungswirkung gegenüber der „normalen“ Borsnake noch einmal um 50 % erhöht. Ein weiterer Unterschied ist die deutlich größer ausgeprägte Schmierungs-Zone am Ender der Boresnake Viper. So wird nach der sehr gründlichen Reinigung auch die Schmierung und der Korrosionsschutz satter aufgetragen und noch gleichmäßiger verteilt.
