Starline Cases .308 Match (Palma) small rifle primer 500 pieces The .308 Match is a version of the .308 Winchester case with a small primer. Many competitive shooters prefer the consistent velocities produced by small rifle primers. As with all our small primer cases, we use a standard flash hole diameter of .080 inches, as we believe this allows for better ignition with slow-burning and harder-to-ignite powders, making it more user-friendly than many versions of this caliber with small primer/small flash hole*.
* As with all cases of this size with small primer pockets, this requires special care in selecting powder and primers in cooler temperatures to avoid hangfires. Single-base powders are generally easier to ignite, and a high-quality primer like the Remington 7 1/2 BR is recommended.

Viele Wettkampfschützen bevorzugen die gleichmäßigen Geschwindigkeiten, die durch kleine Gewehrzündhütchen erzeugt werden. Wie bei allen unseren Gehäusen mit kleinem Zündhütchen verwenden wir einen Standard-Flashlochdurchmesser von .080 Zoll, da wir der Meinung sind, dass dies eine bessere Zündung mit langsamer brennenden und schwerer zu entzündenden Pulvern ermöglicht und es damit benutzerfreundlicher ist als viele Versionen dieses Kalibers mit kleinem Zündhütchen/kleinem Zündloch*.
* Wie bei allen Hülsen dieser Größe mit kleinen Zündhütchentaschen erfordert dies bei kühleren Temperaturen besondere Sorgfalt bei der Auswahl von Pulver und Zündhütchen, um Hänger zu vermeiden. Einzelbasispulver sind in der Regel leichter zu entzünden, und ein hochwertiges Zündhütchen wie das Remington 7 1/2 BR wird empfohlen.
