The Lahoux Helios IR spotlight can be used to support the night vision attachment device in very low residual light. The observation sector is illuminated by the spotlight in a wavelength of 855 nm, which is invisible to the human eye. The brightness is continuously dimmable, and the angle of the beam can be adjusted. The effective illumination range is up to 500m.

Der Beobachtungssektor wird dabei mit dem Strahler in einem für das menschliche Auge unsichtbarem Licht in einer Wellenlänge von 855 nm ausgeleuchtet. Die Helligkeit ist stufenlos dimmbar, der Winkel vom Leuchtkegel ist veränderbar. Die effektive Ausleuchtungsreichweite beträgt bis zu 500m.
