As a lead-free partial discharger, the Splinter Crown was specifically designed for driven hunts or rather shorter hunting distances. The high muzzle velocity allows for a low lead time on moving game, and the rounded bullet tip with the large opening ensures a high momentary effect. The remaining bolt provides shoulder stability for a secure discharge in the angle progression of the shooting angle.
