The Remington U.S Model P17 in caliber .30-06 Springfield is a military bolt-action rifle with a 6-round magazine from World War I. The official term U.S. Rifle Model 1917 is also known by the designation "P17" or "American Enfield." The robust construction of this weapon and the precise peep sight are particularly noteworthy. The rifle was proofed by the proof house in Mellrichstadt in November 2005.
