The newly developed Mauser HSr represents a modern evolution of the legendary Mauser HSc. Manufactured in Germany, it is made entirely of metal and is produced using the latest production technologies. The name "HSr" traditionally stands for "Hahnspanner Rimfire Pistol."

In the design, the developers took new paths and relied on the proven basic design of the internationally renowned SIG® P232. They adopted, among other things, the decocking lever and the disassembly system for separating the slide and frame. At the same time, the manually operated wing safety, mounted on the side, visually recalls a classic design element of the Mauser HSc.

Die neu entwickelte Mauser HSr stellt eine moderne Weiterentwicklung der legendären Mauser HSc dar. Gefertigt in Deutschland, besteht sie vollständig aus Metall und wird nach neuesten Produktionstechnologien hergestellt. Der Name „HSr“ steht traditionell für „Hahnspanner Rimfire Pistole“.

Bei der Konstruktion beschritten die Entwickler neue Wege und griffen auf das bewährte Grunddesign der international bekannten SIG® P232 zurück. Von dieser übernahmen sie unter anderem den Entspannhebel sowie das Zerlegesystem zur Trennung von Schlitten und Griffstück. Gleichzeitig erinnert die seitlich angebrachte manuelle Flügelsicherung optisch an ein klassisches Designelement der Mauser HSc.
