Only the perfect combination of weapon, ammunition, and target optics translates the enormous precision potential of the SAUER 404 into consistently high hit performance. The completely newly constructed and patented SAUER Universal Mount SUM is the crucial component between the weapon and the riflescope. The mounting base is already milled into the housing of each S404, ensuring minimal tolerances and maximum strength. The SUM impresses with its simple and logical handling, its enormous long-term stability tested by DEVA, and its confirmed repeat accuracy through countless test series. But that's not all: all these advantages have been combined by the designers with a sensationally low height. This not only ensures an incredibly graceful and elegant appearance of the S404 but also ensures that the shooter achieves maximum coverage of body and weapon when aiming, thus achieving the highest stability in the stance and shot.
