The Professor Optiken Zugspitze 8-24x50 ED is an ultra-lightweight and compact spotting scope with a very high-quality optical system. Weighing just under 500 grams, this powerhouse impresses with multi-coated optics that utilize the latest ED glass (extra-low dispersion) and BAK4 Porro prisms. This ensures brilliant image reproduction with sharp and extremely clear images.
The Zugspitze 8-24x50 ED was developed as a universal spotting scope for hunting, sports shooters, as well as for leisure activities and ornithologists. At low magnification, the spotting scope can still be used at dusk - at full magnification, even the finest details at a distance are recognizable. The short close focus distance of about 2 meters also allows for the observation of insects.
The spotting scope is robustly constructed - all moving parts are made of metal. The included neoprene protective cover guarantees reliable protection against impacts and falls. The metal eyecup can be twisted out, allowing the use of the spotting scope with and without glasses. The Zugspitze 8-24x50 ED is nitrogen-filled and completely waterproof. A nano-coating also ensures that the lenses do not fog up. Like all binoculars from Professor Optiken, our first spotting scope in the range also features a tripod connection.

Das Professor Optiken Zugspitze 8-24x50 ED ist ein ultraleichtes und kompaktes Spektiv mit einem sehr hochwertigen Optiksystem. Das knapp 500 Gramm schwere Kraftpaket überzeugt mit einer mehrfachvergüteten Optik in dem modernstes ED-Glas (extra-low dispersion) und BAK4 Porro-Prismen zum Einsatz kommen. Diese sorgt für eine brillante Bildwiedergabe mit scharfen und überaus scharfen Bildern.
Das Zugspitze 8-24x50 ED wurde als universelles Spektiv für die Jagd, Sportschützen, aber auch für den Freizeitbereich und Ornithologen entwickelt. Bei geringer Vergrößerung findet das Spektiv auch bei der Dämmerung noch seine Anwendung - bei voller Vergrößerung sind auch feinste Details in der Entfernung erkennbar. Die geringe Nahbereichsentfernung von etwa 2 Metern ermöglicht zudem auch die Beobachtung von Insekten.
Das Spektiv wurde robust konstruiert - alle beweglichen Bauteile wurden aus Metall gefertigt. Die im Lieferumfang enthaltene Neopren-Schutzhülle garantiert einen zuverlässigen Schutz vor Schlag und Sturz. Die Metall-Augenmuschel lässt sich herausdrehen, so ist die Nutzung des Spektives mit und ohne Brille möglich. Das Zugspitze 8-24x50 ED ist mit Stickstoff gefüllt und absolut wasserdicht. Eine Nano-Beschichtung sorgt zudem dafür, dass die Linsen nicht beschlagen. Wie alle Ferngläser von Professor Optiken, hat auch unser erstes Spektiv im Sortiment einen Stativanschluss.
