XTAR VC4 is not only the improved version of both VC2 and XP4 chargers, but also the combination of the principle of technological progress and the responsibility to take care of safety and environmental protection. The XTAR VC4 is a professional Li-Ion/NIMH battery charger with four independently functioning charging slots for operation at any 5V USB port.

Compatible with all USB power and car adapters, input voltage is intelligently identified and adjusted. Power supply not included. The VC4 can simultaneously recognize, display, and charge Ni-MH and Li-Ion batteries. The large display shows: charging current, battery voltage, battery type, and the charged capacity in mAh of all battery slots.
The charging speed (charging current) of the batteries depends on the USB power supply. It is also possible to choose weaker USB power supplies, but charging the batteries at full current is no longer possible. Charging with low power supply offers advantages for small batteries that can be charged with low current. Charging large batteries takes longer as a result.

Das VC4 kann zu derselben Zeit Ni-MH- und Li-Ionen-Akkus erkennen, anzeigen und aufladen. Die Ladegeschwindigkeit (Ladestrom) der Akkus ist von der USB-Stromversorgung abhängig. Es ist möglich auch schwächere USB-Stromversorgung zu wählen jedoch ist das Aufladen der Akkus bei der voller Stromstärke nicht mehr möglich. Laden mit niedriger Stromversorgung bietet Vorteile bei kleinen Akkus die mit niedrigem Strom geladen werden dürfen. Das Aufladen von großen Akkus zieht sich dadurch in die Länge.
