A handy and compact lamp with 1350 lumens. It is powered by 3 ICR18650 batteries, but the plastic holder can also accommodate six CR123A batteries (which produce 1850 lumens). If less light is needed, it can be reduced from 100 to 40 or even 10 percent power, just like all Pro lamps. The Tactical Defense Strobe (TDS) for non-contact defense against aggressors can also be activated from any switch position. The GL1500r also gives back a lot - it serves as a power bank with the included USB cable to charge a mobile phone battery, for example.
BAS - Beam Adjustment System: The BAS provides a maximum amount of light regardless of the focus position. In the PL models, an aluminum reflector is paired with an acrylic lens, allowing you to achieve your customized light. FFC - Fast Focus Change: Lamps with FFC can be quickly adjusted to the desired focus position with one hand. TCS - Time Control System: It makes no sense to draw 100 percent of the maximum brightness throughout the entire operating time until the batteries are empty. Therefore, Walther Pro Lights start with maximum brightness but then reduce it to a lower level to increase runtime. This is not a problem, as the human eye works very well with less light in the dark. Moreover, too much light is often neither necessary nor sensible. TPS - Time Protection System: The TPS monitors the temperature and reduces power and brightness if necessary to protect the components from destruction. TDS - Tactical Defense Strobe: In this mode, the Pro Light emits rapid flashes at a frequency of 20 Hz. These are blinding and disorienting to potential attackers.

Eine handliche und kompakte Lampe mit 1350 Lumen. Betrieben wird diese mit 3 Akkus ICR18650, in deren Kunststoffhalter passen aber auch sechs CR123A Batterien (die erzeugen 1850 Lumen). Wer weniger Licht braucht, kann wie bei allen Pro-Lampen von 100 auf 40 oder gar 10 Prozent Leistung herunterschalten. Auch der Tactical Defense Strobe (TDS) zur berührungslosen Abwehr von Aggressoren lässt sich aus jeder Schaltposition aktivieren. Die GL1500r gibt aber auch viel zurück - sie dient mit dem beigefügten USB-Kabel auch als Powerbank, um etwa einen Handy-Akku aufzuladen.

In den PL-Modellen wird ein Reflektor aus Aluminium mit einer Linse aus Acrylglas gekoppelt, so erreichen Sie Ihr Licht nach Maß.FFC - Fast Focus Change: Die Lampen mit FFC können sehr schnell mit einer Hand in die gewünschte Fokusposition gebracht werden.TCS - Time Control System: Es macht keinen Sinn, 100 Prozent der maximalen Helligkeit über die ganze Betriebsdauer abzurufen, bis die Batterien leer sind. Deshalb beginnen die Walther Pro Lights mit maximaler Helligkeit, reduzieren diese aber dann auf ein geringeres Level, um die Leuchtdauer zu erhöhen. Dies stellt kein Problem dar, da das menschliche Auge in der Dunkelheit sehr gut mit weniger Licht arbeitet. Davon abgesehen ist zuviel Licht oft weder notwendig noch sinnvoll.TPS - Time Protection System: Das TPS überwacht die Temperatur und reduziert bei Bedarf Strom und Helligkeit, um so die Bauelemente vor Zerstörung zu schützen.TDS - Tactical Defense Strobe: In diesem Modus sendet die Pro Light schnelle Blitze mit einer Frequenz von 20 Hz aus. Diese wirken auf etwaige Angreifer blenden und desorientierend.
