The Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 AR-BDC3 is the perfect scope for fast precision shots on tactical weapons such as an AR 15.
Speed and versatility, this is exactly what the variable 1-8x optic offers the shooter. Ideal for targets at short to medium distances. For longer shooting distances, the AR-BDC3 reticle provides holdover marks for the .223 caliber up to 600 yards, which is approximately 594m.
The Vortex AR-BDC3 illuminated reticle is an 11-step adjustable illuminated reticle. The reticle is located in the second focal plane of the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 AR-BDC3 and does not magnify with the image.
New Vortex AR-BDC3 Reticle
The illuminated and glass-etched reticle of the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 AR-BDC3 is specifically tuned to the ballistic performance of standard .223 caliber AR-15s. The 1 M.O.A. center dot provides a precise and fine aiming point, while the surrounding 18 M.O.A. semicircle is designed for quick target acquisition. This directs the shooter's eye more quickly to the center of the BDC reticle. The new Vortex AR-BDC3 reticle has been optimized for both short shooting distances and long shooting distances up to (600 yards) 594 meters.
The new Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 AR-BDC3 is equipped with large adjustment turrets for elevation and windage. The adjustment range for elevation correction is 140 M.O.A. and for windage correction is 140 M.O.A. Each rotation of the adjustment turrets allows for 44 M.O.A. adjustments, with a click adjustment unit of ½ M.O.A.
To simplify zooming from the shooting position, Vortex has added a Throw Lever System (Switchview) to the new Strike Eagle series. This is a lever on the magnification adjustment.
It features a redesigned one-piece aluminum housing with multi-coated optics and nitrogen filling for optimal light transmission.
Basic features of the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 include a one-piece (30mm main tube diameter) body made from aircraft-grade aluminum.
All scopes in this class are shockproof, nitrogen-filled, and therefore fog-proof and waterproof.

Für größere Schussentfernungen bietet das AR-BDC3 Absehen Vorhaltemarken für das Kaliber .223 bis 600 Yards, dies entspricht in etwa 594m.
Bei dem Vortex AR-BDC3 Leuchtabsehen, handelt es sich um ein in 11 Stufen regelbares Leuchtabsehen. Das Absehen befindet sich bei dem Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 AR-BDC3 in der 2. Bildebene und vergrößert nicht mit.
Neues Vortex AR-BDC3 Absehen
Das beleuchtete und in Glas geätzte Absehen des Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 AR-BDC3 ist speziell auf die ballistische Leistung üblicher .223 Kaliber eines AR-15 abgestimmt. Der 1 M.O.A. Mittelpunkt liefert einen präzisen und feinen Zielpunkt, während der umgebende 18 M.O.A. Halbkreis für die schnelle Zielerfassung konzipiert wurde. Das Auge des Sportschützen wird so schneller in die Mitte des BDC Absehen gelenkt. Das neue Vortex AR-BDC3 Absehen ist sowohl für kurze Schussdistanzen, wie auch für große Schussdistanzen bis (600 Yards) 594 Meter optimiert worden.
Das neue Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 AR-BDC3 ist mit großen Systemtürmen für die Höhen- und Seitenmverstellung ausgestattet. Der Verstellbereich der Höhenkorrektur liegt bei 140 M.O.A. und die der Seitenkorrektur bei 140 M.O.A. Pro Umdrehung lassen sich die Verstelltürme um 44 M.O.A. verstellen, die Verstelleinheit pro Klick beträgt ½ M.O.A.
Um das Zoomen aus dem Anschlag heraus zu vereinfachen, hat Vortex der neuen Strike Eagle Serie ein Throw Lever System (Switchview) hinzugefügt. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Hebel auf der Vergrößerungsverstellung.
Es besticht durch ein überarbeites einteilges Aluminiumgehäuse mit mehrschichtvergüteter Optik und Stickstofffüllung für beste Lichttransmission.
Grundlegende Eigenschaften des Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 sind, ein einteiliger aus einem Stück gefertigter (30mm Mittelrohrdurchmesser) Korpus aus Flugzeug-Aluminium.
