The MantisX training system is a product from the USA, manufactured by the company Mantis. The MantisX is a finely adjustable motion sensor that records movement while shooting with the firearm. Requirements for using the system include a rail mount under the firearm, alternatively an adapter, and the appropriate APP for Android or IOS operating systems.
The sensor is attached to the rail of the firearm. The free MantisX app is installed on the smartphone, which can be downloaded from the App/Play Store. The MantisX system is suitable for live, CO2, air pressure, airsoft, and blank-firing weapons. It can be used with both handguns and long guns. Training with the MantisX is possible with live fire as well as dry fire. MantisX can be adjusted so finely that it reacts even when only the firing pin is released.
Data from the MantisX is sent to the smartphone via Bluetooth, recorded, and can then be evaluated immediately after the shot, as well as later. During the first setup, registration is required, after which step-by-step guidance is provided in German.
What is special is that the app not only records and evaluates but also directly describes the mistakes made and gives tips on how to improve shooting.
The MantisX 10 has the same dimensions, weight, and battery performance as the MantisX 3 and also features the significantly simpler quick-release, but it has some additional functions:

Das MantisX-Trainingssystem ist ein Produkt aus den USA, hergestellt von der Firma Mantis. Das MantisX ist ein fein einstellbarer Bewegungssensor, der die Bewegung beim Schießen mit der Waffe aufzeichnet. Voraussetzungen für den Einsatz des Systems sind eine Rail-Schiene unter der Waffe, alternativ ein Adapter und die passende APP für Android oder IOS Betriebssystem.
Der Sensor wird an der Rail-Schiene der Waffe befestigt. Auf dem Smartphone wird die kostenlose MantisX App installiert, die im App-/Play-Store herunterzuladen ist. Das MantisX System ist für scharfe, Co2-, Luftdruck-, Airsoft- und Schreckschusswaffen geeignet. Es Kann sowohl bei Kurz- als auch bei Langwaffen eingesetzt werden. Das Training mit dem MantisX ist sowohl mit scharfem Schuss als auch als Trockentraining möglich. MantisX kann so fein eingestellt werden, dass es schon reagiert wenn man nur Schlagbolzen auslöst.
Die Daten vom MantisX werden über Bluetooth an das Smartphone gesendet, aufgezeichnet und können dann unmittelbar nach dem Schuss, wie auch später ausgewertet werden. Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme ist eine Anmeldung erforderlich anschließend wird Schritt für Schritt auf Deutsch angeleitet.
Das Besondere ist, dass die App nicht nur aufzeichnet und auswertet, sondern auch direkt den gemachten Fehler beschreibt und Tipps gibt, wie das Schießen verbessert werden kann.
Das MantisX 10 hat dieselben Maße, Gewicht und Batterieleistung wie das MantisX 3 und ebenso den wesentlich einfacheren Schnellverschluss, jedoch hat es einige Funktionen mehr:
- aktuell kann zusätzlich das Verhalten beim Rückstoß analysiert werden sowie beim Ziehen aus dem Holster
- es wird in den nächsten Monaten noch weitere Funktionen geben.
