The new Glock19x (Gen5):

New grip: The finger grooves used since 1998 are gone. This change contributes to a better grip feel for some users.
Magazine funnel: The grip is slightly "funnel-shaped" outward.
Ambidextrous slide stop lever: Both models are now usable for left- and right-handed shooters alike.
New sight: The Gen5 models are equipped with a significantly larger light gap between the rear and front sights.
This results in a much better sight picture, especially under adverse lighting conditions.
Modified barrel: The barrel has been revised and is now called GLOCK's Marksman Barrel (GMB) and is intended to ensure improved precision.
New surfaces: According to the manufacturer, the new models have received a much more durable surface.

Die neue Glock19x ( Gen5 ):

Neues Griffstück: Die seit 1998 verwendeten Fingerrillen sind verschwunden. Diese Veränderung trägt für manche Nutzer zu einem besseren Griffgefühl bei.
Magazintrichter: Das Griffstück ist nach außen hin leicht "angetrichert".
Beidseitig bedienbarer Verschlussfanghebel: Beide Modelle sind ab sofort für Links- und Rechtshänder gleichermaßen einsetzbar.
Neue Visierung: Die Gen5-Modelle sind mit einem wesentlich größeren Lichtspalt zwischen Kimme und Korn ausgestattet.
Somit ergibt sich gerade unter widrigen Lichtverhältnissen ein deutlich besseres Visierbild.
Modifizierter Lauf: Der Lauf wurde überarbeitet und trägt jetzt den Namen GLOCKs Marksman Barrel (GMB) und soll eine verbesserte Präzision gewährleisten.
Neue Oberflächen: Laut Hersteller haben die neuen Modelle eine sehr viel widerstandsfähigere Oberfläche erhalten.
