Enfield Revolver No. 2 MK I, cal. .380, this DAO version was intended for tank crews, who usually carried it on the inside of their combination in a shoulder holster. The hammer spur was omitted so that it would not get caught in clothing. The revolver is almost entirely made of steel, but was not blued but phosphated and then coated with a so-called tropical lacquer. The grip panels are made of Bakelite. On the underside of the grip is a rotating ring for a lanyard. The partially rough finish suggests that this revolver was manufactured during the war.

Enfield Revolver No. 2 MK I, Kal. .380 , Diese DAO-Ausführung war für Panzerbesatzungen bestimmt, die ihn üblicherweise auf der Innenseite ihre Kombination in einem Schulterholster getragen haben. Man hatte den Hahnsporn weggelassen, damit er sich nicht in der Kleidung verfangen konnte. Der Revolver ist fast vollständig aus Stahl, wurde aber nicht brüniert sondern phosphatiert und anschließend mit einem sogenannten Tropenlack überzogen. Die Griffschalen sind aus Bakelit. Auf der Unterseite des Griffstücks befindet sich ein drehbarer Ring für eine Fangschnur. Das teilweise rauh geratene Finish läßt den Schluß zu, daß dieser Revolver während des Krieges hergestellt wurde.
