Nyt Glock on tehnyt jäljennöksenä tämän pistoolin alkuperäisestä Gen1 P80 Glockista. Erikoismalli on valmistettu yhteistyössä maahantuojanakin tunnetun amerikkalaisen Lipsey's Guns kanssa. Gen1 -ominaispiirteet löytyvät tästäkin mallista, kuten yhden sokan runko ja litteä ulosvetäjä. Glock teki myös erittäin tarkkoja uudelleenmittauksia alkuperäisestä rungosta, laatikosta ja muista osista autenttisen lopputuloksen saavuttamiseksi. Muun muassa "P80" merkinnät on tehty alkuperäisellä 1982 käytetyllä fontilla!
“I have always wanted to do a retro GLOCK pistol. GLOCK took painstaking measures to recreate the original frames and packaging to make this P80 edition as close to the original as we could get. Not only is this edition a great shooter, it helps tell the amazing story of how GLOCK came to be.”
-Jason Cloessner, Lipsey's Guns Vice President & Product Development Manager
Mukaan 2x 17ptr lipas, pikalaturi, puhdistuspuikko, lukko ja aitoustodistus.
