Pistolet w całości oryginalny, brak jest powojennych stempli atestu nitro, importowych, eksportowych. Obecne są tylko fabryczne stemple - oraz chiński napis na szkielecie - wskazujący na to, że ten Nambu po upadku Japonii był używany w armii Czang Kaj Szeka.
Magazynek oryginalny, ale niezgodny z pistoletem i późniejszy - wyprodukowany po roku 1941.
