Vz.33 uznawany jest za prekursora górskiego 33/40.

Produkowany był głównie na zamówienie czechosłowackich służb pozawojskowych - służby celnej, policji, straży granicznej.

Egzemplarz niezgodny numerycznie. Zamek ma inny numer niż komora zamkowa - ale jest prawidłowy, do tego modelu broni - z charakterystyczną, ściętą i wydrążoną gałką rączki zamkowej.
