Egzemplarz z tzw. czwartej serii, produkowanej w latach 1915 - 1942, zawierającej się w numerach seryjnych 241704 do 1000000. Tutaj mamy numer 711808.
Stan bardzo dobry. Oksyda oryginalna, oraz oryginalne okładziny. Lufa długości 6 cali, bębenek sześcionabojowy. System SA/DA.
Obecne są powojenne, brytyjskie stemple atestu nitro.
To właśnie S&W model 1905 czwartej serii (ale z lufą 5 cali) posiadał od roku 1934 Hermann Goering (numer seryjny 642357). Skonfiskowano mu go 7 maja 1945 - obecnie rewolwer ten znajduje się w muzeum West Point.
