Stan bardzo dobry - wykazuje ślady normalnej, umiarkowanej eksploatacji.

Egzemplarz zgodny numerycznie. W niektórych miejscach obecny jest nalot rdzy - wynikający z wieloletniego składowania.

W komplecie oryginalny pas nośny produkcji jugosłowiańskiej. Obecny jest także bagnet - niezgodny numerycznie z bronią, ale także niezgodny "wewnętrznie" , tj. numery samego bagnetu i pochwy są różne.

Karabinki M48 (oraz pochodne) obecne na rynku - w przytłaczającej większości są to egzemplarze remontowane jeszcze w trakcie ich służby w Jugosławii. Jednakże wiele z nich bardzo często sprawia wrażenie fabrycznie nowych.
