Howa to repetier produkcji japońskiej – widać to od razu po klasie wykonania i wykończenia. Ciężka varmintowska kuta na zimno lufa o średnicy 21 mm gwarantuje niski poziom wibracji i wysokie parametry skupienia. Wylot lufy jest nagwintowany i zabezpieczony nakrętką.Odkuwana komora zamkowa zapewnia dużą sztywność całej konstrukcji. Czterotaktowy zamek ślizgowo – obrotowy funkcjonuje bardzo lekko i cicho. Nowoczesny, regulowany mechanizm spustowy typu H.A.C.T to zupełnie nowa klasa wśród spustów fabrycznych. Trójpozycyjny bezpiecznik pozwala na rozładowanie broni także w pozycji pośredniej, zabezpieczonej.
Duralowe, regulowane łoże Oryx w maskującym kolorze zapewnia wysoką sztywność i ergonomię całej konstrukcji. FDE to barwa ziemi; zapewnia ona lepsze maskowanie od czerni czy klasycznej zieleni.
Gwint na końcu lufy: 5/8″-24
