Door de waterpas op de achterzijde ben je er zeker van dat je FX Impact waterpas staat. De top rail staat voorover in een hoek van 20 MOA, waardoor je richtkijker meer stelbereik heeft. Beide eigenschappen zijn een grote pré voor langeafstandschieten.
Daarnaast bieden de M-LOK slots aan weerszijden van de rail nog meer ruimte voor de montage van accessoires. Bovendien kan er een Delrin loopklem (apart verkrijgbaar) gebruikt worden om ‘barrel droop’ te voorkomen en afwijkingen aan het nulpunt na het wisselen van geluiddemper.
De Saber Tactical TRS FX Impact M4 montagerail is vervaardigd uit aluminium en voorzien van een zwart geanodiseerde buitenlaag, wat beschermt tegen corrosie en slijtage. De standaard uitvoering van de rail heeft een lengte van 71.75 cm (28 1/4 inches) en weegt 680 gram. Hij is geschikt voor de volgende generaties van de FX Impact:
