Met dit inlegrooster creëer je een optimale warmteverdeling in je Dutch oven. Het inlegrooster ligt op drie punten op de bodem van je DO en zorgt hiermee voor een verhoging. Hiermee kan je in je FT4.5, FT6, FT9 en FT12 stomen, koken en bakken zonder aan te branden. Het inlegrooster is voorbehandeld, hoeft niet te worden ingebrand en is daardoor direct klaar voor gebruik.
In het vuur en als onderzetter
Je kunt dit inlegrooster ook direct boven houtskool, briketten of in het vuur gebruiken om daarop een stuk vlees te grillen, waardoor deze ook het kenmerkende grillpatroon krijgt. Of je gebruikt het inlegrooster in het vuur om als standaard voor de Perkomax Percolator of waterketel te dienen. Afgekoeld kan het inlegrooster ook als praktische onderzetter voor op tafel worden gebruikt waarop een hete Dutch oven of skillet kan worden geplaatst.
